Montgomeryville Preschool/Kindergarten Staff


Our LANGUAGE ARTS SPECIALIST is MRS. AMANDA WILSON. Mrs. Wilson has her Master of Education from Wilmington College, and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. She had nine years of experience teaching Elementary and Preschool classes before coming to Kinder Works as our Kindergarten Teacher in 2005. She is certified by both the Pennsylvania Department of Education and by the State Board of Private Academic Schools to teach Preschool through Elementary School students.

Our AM MATH AND SCIENCE SPECIALIST is MRS. ANNE SPARKS. Mrs. Sparks has her bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, and her graduate work was done at Gwynedd-Mercy College. She had four years of experience with preschool and school-aged children before joining our staff in 2007. Mrs. Sparks is a Pennsylvania Department of Education Certified Teacher. Due to the pandemic, Mrs. Sparks will be with us half-days this year, while her daughter’s school district is 100% virtual for the 5th grade.

Our PM MATH AND SCIENCE SPECIALIST is MRS. EMILY CARLIN. Ms. Carlin has received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Human Services from the University of Scranton. She went on to the Montessori Teaching College, where she received her certification to teach Montessori. She has taught Kindergarten through 2nd grade for three years, before joining our staff at Kinder Works in 2020.

Our CREATIVE EXPRESSION SPECIALIST is MS. JENNIFER VINCENT (formerly DIX). Mrs. Vincent has her Bachelor of Fine Arts from James Madison University and is a Pennsylvania Department of Education Certified Art Teacher. She had two years of experience teaching preschoolers before joining us in 2006. She is also an award-winning artist, specializing in painting and drawing, and is frequently commissioned to paint or draw portraits and landscapes. 

Our GYM AND MUSIC SPECIALIST is MR. ROBERT MERRICK, known as “RJ”. Mr. Merrick received his Master of Education degree from Temple University, Graduate College of Education. He also has a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. RJ came to us in 2020 with experience teaching all ages as a building substitute in a local public school. He also spent 2 years as a Therapist both in behavior analysis and life-skills before getting his master’s degree. He was a Team Leader for Jumpstart, where he led in-classroom activities to promote children’s language, literacy, and social-emotional development. RJ was also our Sports Specialist in summer camp in 2020.



Our Kindergarten Teacher is MRS. ELIZABETH BONNER. Mrs. Bonner has her bachelor’s degree in Elementary & Early Childhood Education from the College of New Jersey, and she is a Certified Teacher. She has served as Director for a local Christian nursery school for 8 years, Head Teacher at a YMCA nursery school for 1 year, and has taught 1st grade at a NJ public school for 3 years before joining Kinder Works in 2020.

Our Enrichment Teacher is MS. STEPHANIE GREENBERG. Ms. Greenberg earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland where she majored in Early Childhood Education, and has also earned a Dual Master’s Degree in Early Education and Special Education from Touro College. She is a PA Certified Teacher and also has an English as a Second Language Certificate for K-12 from Temple University. Ms. Greenberg joined our staff in 2020 with years of experience: 1 year in 5th grade, 1 year in Kindergarten, and 2 years in Preschool, as well as 7 years as an Education Director in private centers/schools.

Our Preschool Teacher for the older class is MS. SAMANTHA JAGERNAUTH. Ms. Jagernauth has her bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University where she majored in English, and her Master of Arts in Education is from West Chester University. She came to us in 2016 with experience working with children in a Community Center. She is a PA Certified Teacher, and has taught in our Preschool Program as well as in our Toddler Program.

Our Preschool Teacher for the younger class is MS. ALESHA SETERNUS. Ms. Seternus graduated cum laude from West Chester University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is an active member of the Starlight Children’s Foundation for seriously ill children, and has participated in research studies pertaining to emotional attachments between children and their parents/guardians. Alesha joined our staff in 2011 with two years of experience working with children. Since then, she has taught in our Preschool Program as well as in our Toddler Program, and has assumed the role of Assistant Director.
